A two-hour live fundraiser to raise funds for the humanitarian appeal in Ukraine will take place at the end of the month.

ITV, STV and Livewire Pictures are joining forces with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and Global to host the fundraising concert on Tuesday, March 29.

The ITV Concert for Ukraine will bring together names from across the music world for a unique event spreading a message of hope and support, and most importantly, raising funds for DEC Ukraine’s ongoing humanitarian appeal.

A selection of presenters and artists will take part in the live show, which will be shown on ITV and ITV Hub. All sponsorship and advertising revenue generated from broadcasting the event will also be donated to the DEC appeal.

The show will combine moving musical performances with short films acknowledging ongoing relief efforts and the plight of those affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

Viewers will be able to donate money to the cause throughout the evening.

“But there is something we can all do to bring hope. Funds raised from this concert will make a real difference to those affected by the conflict, sending a strong message of love and enabling DEC charities to provide emergency relief while helping to rebuild lives in months and years to come.”

“We are grateful to ITV, Livewire Pictures, Global and M&S for their support of this appeal, our special thanks to ITV who have supported DEC with emergency appeals for many decades and most recently for Afghanistan.”
