Russia Ukrainian crisis LIVE: Russian artillery bombs Kiev; India abstains from UNSC draft resolution

Russian-Ukrainian crisis February 26 LIVE: Ukrainian officials have claimed that more than 1,000 Russian soldiers have been “neutralized” in the resistance operations.

Updates on the Russian-Ukrainian crisis:

Russian missiles streaked across the sky in Kiev, with many citizens cowering in bunkers or leaving the Ukrainian capital on foot. An initial United Nations report said hundreds of people have been killed in the crisis so far. Ukrainian officials claimed that more than 1,000 Russian troops had been “neutralized” in the resistance operations. While the United States and the European Union have once again imposed a new round of sanctions on Russian President Vladimir Putin, the realities on the ground show that the restrictions have not deterred Moscow’s plans.

At the United Nations Security Council, India, China and the United Arab Emirates abstained on the draft resolution against the ongoing Russian military operations against Ukraine.
