Special two-hour TV concert will raise money for Ukraine

A spectacular two-hour live show from ITV, STV and Livewire Pictures will raise funds for the humanitarian appeal in Ukraine.

Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé, Gregory Porter and Snow Patrol are the first artists to be announced for Concert for Ukraine, a two-hour fundraising event to raise money for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal on Tuesday, March 29 .

As previously announced, Global is teaming up with ITV, STV, Livewire Pictures and Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) to bring together names from across the music world for a unique event spreading a message of hope and support, and most importantly, raising funds. funds for DEC Ukraine’s ongoing humanitarian appeal.

Global will broadcast live from backstage at the night’s concert with a show on the Heart and Capital networks.

The two-hour show will feature key moments from the performance, interviews and behind-the-scenes atmosphere of the artists performing, as well as details on how listeners can donate to the DEC appeal. .

Tickets will go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday 22) via www.theticketfactory.com.

All sponsorship and advertising revenue generated by the show, which is expected to bring in over £3m, will be donated to the DEC appeal.

Viewers will also be able to donate money to the cause throughout the evening.
